There’s nothing better than a date night at home after a long work week! It’s a great way for the two of you to relax and still get romantic.
If you’re planning a romantic evening in, here are some awesome activities:
- Theme night — Who doesn’t love a themed event? Decide on a theme beforehand, and each of you shows up dressed appropriately for a themed meal in your theme-decorated living room/dining room/bedroom and a movie along the same theme. It can be a whole lot of fun!
- Creative Creperie –-You don’t need to go to France to have delicious crepes, but you can eat them in the comfort of your own home. Spend your date night in the kitchen, and break out as many crepe fillings as you can find–sweet and savory both. Make your own crepes, or make them for each other. Bonus points to whoever makes the best pairings.
- Iron Chef Test –– For some real creative fun, choose an ingredient (like cheese, fruit, or chocolate) and have a competition to see who can use it better in all three courses (appetizer, entrée, and dessert). It can be a whole lot of fun to spend time cooking together in the kitchen. Plus, delicious food!
- DIY Photoshoot –– Time to get creative with the backdrops and come up with fun and funny poses to capture on camera. You can do your own sexy photography in the bedroom, or why not plan a photoshoot in line with your themed evening? Get creative and artistic, and have fun with the camera. Who knows, you may even get a few shots that you’ll want to store!
