Trying to figure out how to be romantic in bed? We’ve got some tips to help you do it right:
- Borrow romance — If you want to make that special person in your life feel loved but can’t think of how to say things in your own words, use the words of others. Shakespeare is known for his romantic quotes and poems, and you’ll find that there are dozens of other extremely romantic writers and poets you can quote. Don’t make it a big, cheesy thing, but just tell the person, “I found this the other day and it made me think of you.” It’s guaranteed to put a smile on his/her face!
- Tell them how you feel –– What could be more romantic than hearing that your partner loves you more than anything else, or how they want to make you happy? Sharing the way you feel about your partner is the key to being romantic in bed, especially if you’re trying to dial up the “romance” factor up a notch (rather than just have sex). Tell them how they make you feel, what you think when you look at them, or how your life is better with them in it. It may feel like you’re being a bit cheesy, but it’s not going to feel that way to them.
- Talk about the future –– Do you envision yourself spending years by that person’s side? Do you have a picture of what your future will be like? If so, share that image with your partner. Tell them about all the wonderful things you want for them, and how you plan to help them achieve those things. Highly romantic stuff, indeed!
